Joint Commitment Declaration for the Implementation of the 2026 Economic Census

Saturday, 13 June 2026, Together with the Regional Government, the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) of Seram Bagian Timur Regency, and the 2026 Economic Census Enumerators, Statistics Indonesia (BPS) East Seram Bagian Timur Regency officially launched the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) through a Kick-Off Ceremony and the Joint Commitment Declaration, marking the commencement of the census implementation in Seram Bagian Timur Regency.

The event was officially inaugurated by the Regional Secretary of Seram Bagian Timur Regency, representing the Regent of Seram Bagian Timur Regency, through the striking of a ceremonial gong as a symbol of the beginning of the 2026 Economic Census implementation. This milestone reflects the strong synergy and support of all stakeholders in ensuring the success of the largest economic data collection conducted by Statistics Indonesia (BPS).

As a symbol of shared commitment, the Regional Secretary and the Chairperson of the Seram Bagian Timur Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) initiated the signing of the "Joint Commitment Declaration" board, followed by all participants in attendance. This symbolic gesture represents the determination, support, and collaboration of all parties to ensure the successful implementation of a high-quality 2026 Economic Census.
