Abstract

In April 2021, out of 90 CPI cities in Indonesia, 72 cities experienced inflation and 18 cities experienced deflation.

The highest inflation occurred in Kota Kotamobagu with 1.31 percent. The lowest inflation occurred in the city of Yogyakarta at 0.01 percent. The highest deflation occurred in Jayapura City at 1.26 percent. The lowest deflation occurred in the City of Tanjung Pandan at 0.02 percent.

Ambon City experienced inflation of 0.16 percent with a CPI of 105.66. The city of Tual also experienced inflation of 0.52 percent with a CPI of 107.31.

Of the 90 CPI Cities, Ambon City's CPI ranking dropped to 56th position. Tual City's CPI ranking also rose to position 20. Ambon City's monthly inflation was in 46th position, calendar year inflation was 74th, while year-on-year inflation was ranked 89th. Monthly inflation in Tual City is in the 15th position, calendar year inflation is in the 40th position, while year-on-year inflation is in the 15th position.
