Abstract

Maluku's exports in March 2024 reached US$ 5.64 million or an increase of around 465.94 percent compared to February 2024.
Cumulatively, the export value from January to March 2023 was US$ 14.87 million or an increase of around 24.38 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
Maluku's exports in March 2024 will come from the non-oil and gas sector.
Maluku's export destination countries in March 2024 are Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan, China and India. The largest export was to China worth US$ 4.73 million.
The total export value of commodities from Maluku exported from ports outside Maluku in March 2024 reached US$ 1.52 million or an increase of 35.68 percent compared to February 2024.
Cumulatively, the export value of commodities from Maluku exported through ports outside Maluku from January to March 2024 reached US$ 7.44 million or decreased by around 36.55 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
Maluku imports in March 2024 reached US$ 45.12 million or an increase of around 42.78 percent compared to imports in February 2024 (US$ 31.60 million).
Cumulatively, the import value from January to March 2024 reached US$ 109.35 million or an increase of around 113.19 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
The countries of origin for Maluku imports in March 2024 are Singapore, Malaysia and China. The largest import came from Singapore with a value of US$ 26.92 million.
Commodities imported in March 2024 will be in the oil and gas and non-oil and gas sectors.
Imports in March 2024 will all be via Yos Sudarso Port.
