Abstract

  • In June 2024 there will be year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Maluku Province of 3.63 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.78. The highest inflation occurred in Ambon City at 4.49 percent with a CPI of 109.10 and the lowest occurred in Central Maluku Regency at 2.36 percent with a CPI of 105.57.
  • Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in 10 expenditure group indices, namely: food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 6.10 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group at 5.79 percent; personal care and other services group at 5.59 percent; health group at 4.74 percent; recreation group,
  • sports and culture at 2.89 percent; transportation group by 2.77 percent; education group at 1.68 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 1.44 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.81 percent; and the clothing and footwear group at 0.32 percent.   • The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for Maluku Province in June 2024 is 1.33 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate is 2.03 percent.
